Can you treat…?

Massage Therapy can be a beneficial treatment option for most soft- tissue aliments, and be a helpful support for mental wellbeing as well. If you have a recent injury or a health problem and you want to find out if massage therapy could help, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Do you direct bill?

Yes! We can provide direct billing with the Telus Health group (Canada Life, ClaimSecure, Coughlin, Equitable Life, GroupHEALTH, Desjardins, Manulife and more), GreenShield and BlueCross (RCMP, Veterans Affairs).

*Please note that not all policies permit for direct billing by practitioners. You may have to pay for your treatment and we will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurer. Please ensure you always bring an alternative payment method.

Is this a scent free space?

Essential oils may be used in the building. Please contact us prior to your appointment if you have any questions or concerns. We will do our best to accommodate those with allergies or sensitivities to scents!

What should I know for my first massage?

At your first appointment we will go through an assessment/interview before treatment, going over your health history, treatment goals. and answer any questions you may have. Here are some general things to note so you can feel comfortable coming to your first appointment:

  • Please remember to complete your health history form prior to your appointment and arrive a few minutes early for your treatment. This will allow you enough time to find parking and get settled in before your session begins.

  • We will only focus on the specific areas that we have discussed, that you feel comfortable to with, and that you have given your consent to

  • No pain no gain- isn’t really how it works. Some massage techniques can be tender or briefly painful but the whole treatment should not be painful. During the treatment, we will regularly check in with you. However, please don't hesitate to inform your RMT if anything feels too intense or uncomfortable.

  • For your treatment, you can choose how much clothing you'd like to take off. You can keep all of your clothes on or remove some of them, depending on your comfort level. We will always have sheets covering you, and only the areas that we're working on will be uncovered with your permission. We can also perform the treatment over the sheets if you prefer.

  • Communication is important- always feel like you can tell your RMT if you want to change something about the treatment- don’t want to work on an area anymore? Table too hot? Pressure too much? We will check in as well through the appointment but never feel like you can’t say something.

Is the building accessible?

Unfortunately, accessing the building requires navigating a few steps at the front. However, once inside, you'll find the clinic space and bathroom conveniently located on the accessible first floor.

Is there parking?

At our location, we unfortunately do not have parking available on site. However, there is good parking options nearby, both free and paid, on the surrounding streets. Additionally, paid parking lots can be found at Gilmour and Kent, as well as just across Bank on the other side of Gilmour.
